In the Unusual Trio, Terraza, Cunningham and Pi explore the trio formation without bass, showcasing the powerful left hand of Terraza, the multi-instrumentalism of Cunningham, and a resulting groove that is both fresh and light, with a repertoire ranging from Swing to Hard Bop (and including some Brazilian music), all firmly rooted in the jazz tradition.

En “Unusual trio”, Terraza, Cunningham y Pi  exploran la formación de trio sin contrabajo, en la que destacan la poderosa mano izquierda de Terraza, el multi-instrumentismo de Cunningham y un groove intenso, a la vez fresco y desenfadado, con un repertorio firmemente enraizado en el jazz que va del swing al hard-bop (incluyendo algunos temas brasileños).
